The film follows professional footballers Gianni Zuiverloon, Edson Braafheid, Ron Vlaar, Calvin Jong a Pin, Thomas Marijnissen, Ryan Donk, and Mark Diemers during a several-day stay at the Dutch FA’s training centre in Zeist. Without their phones or the presence of an audience, they are confronted with a series of physical and mental challenges—and with each other.
In a series of candid conversations, they speak openly about grief, divorce, loneliness, the pressure to perform, panic attacks, and the fear of showing emotion in a world where shutting down and carrying on is often the norm. The sense of brotherhood and support they discover along the way reveals that they don’t have to face these struggles alone.
